Where are you from ?



transfer (v.) to move from one place, person, or position to another

e.g. She studied for two years at Smith College, then transferred to the University of Chicago.


originally (adv.) in the beginning; when something first existed:

e.g It was a bedroom originally, but we turned it into a study.


military (n.) the armed forces of a country:

e.g. My Dad was in the military.


representative (adj.) the same as other people or things in a particular group:

e.g. Are his views representative of the rest of the department?


receptionist (n.) someone who works in a hotel or office building, answering the telephone and dealing with guests:

e.g. I asked a hotel receptionist about the address which I wanted to go.

assignment (n.) a particular job or responsibility given to you:
